Well, the hoped-for hand-over didn't happen, still a fair bit of work to do. The fence materialised today, as did paving and coping stones on the front entrance steps and ramp. One of the door frames was being installed, and one of the tall sets of windows on the main hall was finished off, apart from some sticky protective tape. At least we get to see what they will look like when all finished.

The old hawthorn bush, after severe pruning, survives.

New fence along Victoria Road.

Windows glazed and trim added.
Still some protective tape on lower half.

Coping stones being added to the entrance ramps.

Paving stones laid on the steps and entrance.

Entrance steps from the road, later in the day!

The building fund is growing, but slowly. We have received promised grants, but still need quite a bit more to fund completion. We have do have enough money to make a start on the fitting out process, but it will only cover part of the job. The sooner we have the money the sooner we will be able to complete the building and start making use of it.

If you would like to make a donation towards this, then please click this link. Thank you!

We have recently received a number of donations which are much appreciated. If one was from you, then we are deeply grateful. Thank you very much!
