Well, here we are in 2018 and things have only moved on a bit since the last entry.

Samuel has been working hard fitting out the meeting rooms and office. The electricians have done a fair, there are lights on the outside of the building, so it looks a bit less like a building site at night.

There are still outstanding problems with leaks, the West windows of the hall (up above the lobby) have to be removed, and refitted.

Here are a few photos showing things inside:

The office floor has been skimmed, walls painted.

The meeting room next to the office likewise.

The meeting room opposite.

Architrave awaiting fitting.

Once bit of ceiling in the corridor.
The rest of the ceilings are panels which must wait
until everything is dried out.

Ventilation ducts have been fitted in the toilets.

And the other toilets, also showing wiring in place.

Ducting and wiring above the small store.

There is one usable toilet, but no door!

Fitting extra bracing to the hall roof.

The building fund is growing, but slowly. We have received promised grants, but still need quite a bit more to fund completion. We have do have enough money to make a start on the fitting out process, but it will only cover part of the job. The sooner we have the money the sooner we will be able to complete the building and start making use of it.

We have recently received a number of donations which are much appreciated. If one was from you, then we are deeply grateful. Thank you very much!
