Rain has hampered progress. Mark assured me that the brickwork would complete today, but it's still not quite there.

Some progress on the interior wall - the plant room and kitchen are now separated from the meeting room and store room, wall up to the ceiling, but walls beyond that are still a few courses short.

The brickwork on the main hall shows some progress - the west wall is now up to the top, and as I was leaving the men were starting work to finish the east wall. If the rain holds off, there's a chance of finishing today, but storm Doris looks to rule out any progress tomorrow!

I understand that the roofer has covered half of the main hall roof. The monodraught ventilators are due to be installed next week, so he needs to finish the main hall by then.

And now for something totally different - they have dug a trench and laid a cable from the plant room to the fence by Victoria Road. The only thing is they have also filled it in, now that the cable is in place. Just a bit by the fence to allow connection to the main.

Interior wall up to ceiling level.

Other interior walls need further work.

Brickwork complete up main hall west wall.

But not on the east wall!

Trench for power cable, filled in!

End of trench by fence, cable coiled back.

Other end of cable inside plant room.

The building fund is growing, but slowly. We have received promised grants, but still need quite a bit more to fund completion. We have do have enough money to make a start on the fitting out process, but it will only cover part of the job. The sooner we have the money the sooner we will be able to complete the building and start making use of it.

We have recently received a number of donations which are much appreciated. If one was from you, then we are deeply grateful. Thank you very much!
