Asbestos finally cleared and gone, some photos of clearing up.

Waiting for the big machine to come to start the real demolition. Unfortunately the machine was in Scotland! Last heard of delayed on the M6, so no further progress this week.

Should be here first thing on Monday and things will at last move on.

A gap in the fence reveals the asbstos tenting
outside the boiler room.

Demolition of the tenting.

Just a flimsy tubular frame with polythene stuck on
with gaffer tape!

Inside the now pristine boiler room.

They even remove the nail holes as they
may contain the odd fibre!

The gas main, capped off, but still live.

The water main, with temporary hose for the
asbestos workers convenience. See below for
removal.

What is left of the store room and narthex.

Oh dear! The roof seems to be leaking again.

The water meter, hidden under the bushes by the wall.

Hole to access the water main.

Two men fighting with a snake.

Connecting temporary water main to cabins.

Cutting the water main to connect up.

Temporary water supply now connected to main.

The building fund is growing, but slowly. We have received promised grants, but still need quite a bit more to fund completion. We have do have enough money to make a start on the fitting out process, but it will only cover part of the job. The sooner we have the money the sooner we will be able to complete the building and start making use of it.

If you would like to make a donation towards this, then please click this link. Thank you!

We have recently received a number of donations which are much appreciated. If one was from you, then we are deeply grateful. Thank you very much!
